WHAT IS AAM
Advanced Air Mobility (regional and urban) is an
emerging sector of air transport that has emerged
due to major advances in electric propulsion
(engines, batteries, fuel cells, electronic controllers,
etc.) and the growing need for improved people’s
services. The impact of AAM on humanity will
exceed the impact experienced with the advent of
vehicles and combustion engines.

aam r&d Project
Our futuristic R&D project will emphasize multi-disciplinary teams. A dozen research and development pilot projects have been identified with a focus on ground infrastructure, air traffic management, simulation, digital twins, supply chain, urban integration, social and economic acceptability, and societal impacts.
12 sub-projects were defined, involving 5 universities and 16 students, with 2 areas of interest: air traffic & flight management, and digital twins for an immersive experience.
Other sub-projects are underway!
